Remebering our Dearly Departed

Like everyone else, we too paid visit and offered prayers for our love ones who have gone before us. For me, both my parents already passed away, my mom just this year - March and I miss them very much. Though going to the cemetery to visit them is always a part of almost all of our Sundays, we made it point to visit today, offered special flowers and prayers.

A Prayer for Deceased Parents
by Scott P. Richert

O God, who hast commanded us to honor our father and our mother; in Thy mercy have pity on the souls of my father and mother, and forgive them their trespasses; and make me to see them again in the joy of everlasting brightness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Eternal Rest

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

FORGIVENESS

Religious Myspace Comments
MyNiceSpace.com

Lord be with me as I sleep
Bring your love to every corner of my heart.
Heal every hurt that has been done to me.
Heal every hurt that I have caused to another.
Remove any bitterness from my heart.
Forgive me as I forgive others.

Prayer for Protection

I would like to share with you this prayer we can say anytime specially on travel.

I sign myself with the sign of the cross the sign of victory.
I cover myself with the precious blood of the lamb.
I surround myself with the light of Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus, nothing can break through this wall
of protection
to harm me. AMEN.

HAIL HOLY QUEEN

Hail holy Queen, mother of mercy
Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To you, do we cry, poor banished children of eve
To you, do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in
this valley of tears.

Turn then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy
towards us

and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of
your womb, Jesus.
