Another movie from the latest novel of Nicholas Sparks. Can't wait to see if it is as good as Dear John, The Notebook and A walk to remember.

Dear John

After waiting for quite sometime, at last Dear John the movie is now showing. I have finished reading the book by Nicholas Sparks. At first, it made me hesitant to see the movie for I find it so sad, yet curious to see how the characters give life to the story. Somehow, we have to see some light in it though, of how love could change a person and hoping only what is good and best for the person you love.

Cannot wait for Saturday, I will watch the movie with my office mates - VIP at Gmall.

Miss you Like Crazy

Really nice movie...I dared to watch it alone. I cried even on my way home. But it made me hope again, against hope that maybe someday, just maybe, somehow time will be our friend and in our side.

Serendipity & Love in the time of Cholera

Holiday season is a time to be with the whole family celebrating Jesus Christ’s birthday, a time of gift giving to all your love ones and friends and for me, it’s also a longer time off from work. I do set my mind to use extra time to relax for I know there will be lots and lots of work when the year ends.

After the Christmas celebration, seeing my seldom seen relatives, updating each other and taking pictures, I decided to watch again one of my favorite romantic comedy films, which is SERENDIPITY. I just love this 2001 movie since the first time I saw it. A story about love that revolves around fate, destiny, of meant to be and chance. I did watch this movie several times but amazingly, this time, I recognized for the first time the featured book, “ Love in the time of Cholera”. It’s about a heart’s eternal vow to love. I saw the movie version of the book just this year, and found out that the book was first published in Spanish sometime in 1985 and translated in English in 1988. I’m so thankful for the extra time to do the things I love and for the time to relax.

SPIDER MAN AND THE CLASSIC

I remember one of my countless godchildren Andre told me before with much excitement and enthusiasm that he watched Spider man movies a hundred times. At six, you can see that he knows spider man movies by heart. This reminds me of the many times too that I watched the Korean movie "The Classic". Though I find the movie so sad that I cried sobbing the first time I saw it, the love story of the characters of the movie somehow has touched me deep down inside. Last night, again, I watched the movie for the __nth time.. and tears fall down on my cheeks every time.

P.S. Its Andre's birthday today. Happy 7th birthday Andre. Be a good boy always.
